Accessibility

It is our intention that this site be easy to use and accessible to all visitors. We are attempting to make this site as accessible and usable as possible, doing everything we can without editing the framework’s core files.

Adjusting the Size of Text

This site uses font sizes that you can control using your browser.

Wheel Mouse

If you have a wheel mouse, most browsers can be toggled by holding the 'Ctrl' key down and then scroll the wheel.

Internet Explorer

You can change the text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 by selecting View > Text Size followed by your preferred text size from 'Smallest' to 'Largest'. The default setting is 'Medium'.

Firefox

You can change the text size in Firefox 2 by selecting View > Text size followed by 'Increase' or 'Decrease'. To return the text size to its default setting, select 'Normal'.

You can change the text size in Firefox 3 by selecting View > Zoom followed by 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'. To return the size to its default setting, select 'Reset'.

Safari

You can specify the fonts used by webpages, as well as the encoding (which determines how characters in a particular language are displayed).

  1. Open Safari if it is not already open.
  2. Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click Appearance.
  3. Set font, image, and encoding options.
  4. Click Advanced to set additional font and style sheet options. For information about the options in Appearance and Advanced preferences, click the Help button (looks like a question mark).
