| Kristin Schroeder Kristin Schroeder is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a BS degree in health studies. She served an internship with S.C. Johnson & Sons, working on several projects before joining HealthDrive in Wauwatosa where she held several positions since January 2005 – the last being Operations Manager. Kristin is a Racine native with strong ties to the Racine community who chose to come back to this area to live and work. She brings for-profit business experience and health industry experience along with great interest and enthusiasm for Racine Community. | Len Maki Len Maki was born in Racine and returned to the community after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Theater. Having held several key positions for RMS Quality Services, Sturtevant WI., Len brings over fifteen years of experience working with businesses in the Racine area. He also provides a unique perspective to the expansion and retention of Racine area businesses in addition to experience in human resources, operations management, team leading, and customer service. Len has been actively involved various community programs and organizations and he has a great interest in the vitality and growth of our community. | Tim Thompson Tim Thompson is a graduate of The University of North Dakota with a BBA in Business Administration and Management. He worked at Menards in various management positions through out the Midwest. Tim was previously in the Lumber Industry for over twenty years working locally at Stock Building Supply and Probuild in Sales and Customer Service. Tim has a wide variety of experience in Sales and Management in different types of businesses. Tim has been in the Racine community since 1997 and For the past ten years he has been involved in local Semi-Pro Football and various volunteer events in the community. | Joel Espinoza Joel Espinoza is a graduate of Upper Iowa University with a BS Degree in General Business and an Associate Degree from Gateway in Supervisory Management. He has several years of experience in Sales, Customers Service and Human Resources specializing in Training and Development. Joel is a Chilean Native and has been working and living in Racine for more than 7 years. He brings experience in training and development area which is a contribution to his role as a Job Developer and Coach providing employment and training opportunities to the W-2 participants. | Rachel Messenger Rachel Messenger is a Wauwatosa native who graduated from Carthage College with a BA in French, Geography and Earth Science, and a minor in Mathematics. She has a wide variety of work experience, from retail to research grants, and has just returned from teaching English in France to spend a year serving the Racine community as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member. As a VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) member, her overall aim is to build capacity and sustainability in programs that aim to alleviate poverty in the local community, while her specific focus will be working with RCWDC and the Center for Community Partnerships at University of Wisconsin - Parkside on various youth workforce development initiatives. She looks forward to discovering the area and all it has to offer while figuring out what she can do to give back to the community during her term of service. | John Siegert John Siegert manages the CareerConnect initiative for the Racine County Workforce Development Center. As a member of the Business Services team, John links employers with students seeking career-related learning experiences. This program helps to meet Challenge 1 of the Higher Expectations Strategy for workforce development.
John is a graduate of William Horlick High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BA-Psychology), the University of Texas at Austin (MA-Speech Communication), and Leadership Racine. He brings more than a decade’s worth of private sector marketing experience, as well as a record of community engagement, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Racine County. |
