Interested in presenting clear and concise letters, reports, memos, or passing a written pre-employment test?  Polish your reading and writing skills in parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, articles, infinitives, gerunds; and vital types), mechanics (a/an, capitalization, italics, common misspellings, numbers), spelling rules (i before e, s and es, word endings, homonyms), punctuation rules (commas, colons, semi-colons, apostrophes, ellipsis, quotation marks, exclamation points, parenthesis, brackets, dashes, hyphens), writing structures (sentences, paragraphs, essays, sentence construction issues), and syntax issues (awkward, passive, repetitive, and wordy).

Gateway Technical College

Carthage

Carthage is a private college of the liberal arts and sciences, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Located midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, Carthage's picturesque campus on the Lake Michigan shore is home to approximately 2,375 full-time and 720 part-time students.
