Note: You must know how to use a computer to use the Resume Lab.

This open computer lab setting is available for you to work on your resume, with suggestions and computer assistance from staff. You will be using the computer to create a resume that can be printed or emailed for use in your job search. Staff is available to answer your questions, provide assistance with proof reading, and provide an employer perspective so that you will feel your resume is ready for your job search. Creating your own resume is also a valuable tool in helping to prepare for job interviews. For most people, creating a resume is a process that takes significant time, depending on typing and computer skills. Please plan accordingly.

Not comfortable with the computer? Attend our Compuphobia classes to learn the basics (page 25-26).

It is recommended you learn what it takes to create a professional resume that gets results by attending “Resume Smarts” before visiting the Resume Lab (page 31).
